Deep Fried Fries

I know they look like just another average bunch of fries. But holy moly, these are unbelievable! Toying with seasonings will eventually pay off because I now get to share with you the BEST SEASONING COMBINATION AND WAY TO FRY THESE EVER to make fries.

What you will need:
  •  Preferrably a fry daddy, if not, a pan large enough to fry them in 1" of oil
  • Canola oil
  • 3 potatoes
Directions:
  • Cut up the potatoes french fry style
  • Soak them in cold water for 30 mins.
  • Fill the fry daddy up to the suggested line with oil, or fill your pan up with oil
  • If you have a thermometer, wait for the oil to heat up to 325 degrees (if no thermometer, dip your fingers in water and splash the water into the oil. If the oil starts popping immediately it's ready)
  • Fry the potatoes in 325 degrees for 2 minutes
  • Take them out and let them rest for a few minutes
  • Fry them again at 375 degrees for 3 mins
  • Let fries rest again on paper towels
  • Sprinkle with salt
