Peanut Butter Cream Puffs

What you will need:

Cream Puffs
  • 1 C Water
  • 1/2 C Butter
  • 1 C Flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/8 tsp Salt
Peanut Butter Filling
  • 4 oz. Cream Cheese
  • 1 C Powdered Sugar
  • 1/2 C Peanut Butter
  • 1 (8 oz) Carton Cool Whip, thawed
Chocolate Drizzle
  • 1/4 C Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1 tsp. Shortening
Directions:
  • In pan combine butter, water and salt
  • Bring to boil
  • Add flour all at once and stir vigorously
  • Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball that doesn't separate
  • Remove from heat and cool for 10 minutes
  • Add eggs one at a time beating after each until smooth
  • Drop batter by heaping tablespoons 3 inches apart on greased baking sheet
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 30-35 minutes
  • Cut tops off and remove any soft dough inside
  • Spoon Peanut Butter filling inside
Peanut Butter Filling:
  • Whip cheese until fluffy and soft
  • Beat in Sugar and Peanut Butter
  • Fold in Cool Whip
Chocolate Drizzle
  • Melt chocolate and shortening
  • Put into ziploc bag and snip the end off to drizzle over Puffs
